Aloe Vera for Hair: 5 Simple Ways to Add It to Your Routine

Aloe vera isn't just for skin. It's a favourite in hair care routines too, thanks to its lightweight moisture and refreshing feel. Here are five simple ways to add it to yours.

1. Pre-Shampoo Scalp Massage

Before washing, massage a small amount of aloe vera gel into your scalp with your fingertips. Leave it for 10 minutes, then shampoo as usual with Aloe-Jojoba Shampoo. Your scalp will feel clean and refreshed.

2. Leave-In Conditioner Booster

Mix a pea-sized amount of aloe gel with your regular conditioner, or smooth it through damp hair ends after washing. It adds lightweight moisture without weighing hair down. Follow with Aloe Jojoba Conditioner for extra softness.

3. Frizz Tamer

Rub a tiny drop of aloe gel between your palms and smooth it over frizzy areas or flyaways. The result: a sleeker look without sticky styling products.

4. Post-Sun Hair Refresher

After a day at the beach or pool, hair can feel dry and rough. Work aloe vera gel through damp hair, leave for 15 minutes, then rinse. Hair looks shinier and feels softer.

5. Overnight Hydration Treatment

Once a week, apply aloe gel generously from roots to ends before bed, cover with a shower cap, and wash it out in the morning. It's an easy deep-moisture ritual.

Choosing the Right Aloe for Hair

Use a pure, stabilized aloe vera gel such as Forever Aloe Vera Gelly. Avoid gels with added alcohol or heavy fragrances, which can dry hair out, the opposite of what you want.
